Parents,
I thought our team played well at the Blue/Gold game Friday night. We still have some work to do, but I thought our guys played with a lot of intensity. Thanks for all of the help on everything Friday night. It was a great night, and we had a great crowd.

This Week
Parents,
Just wanted to remind you that this will be the last week of summer workouts. The guys will not have to be up here next week for weights, but we are encouraging them to do some physical work during that week. We’ve had a great summer of strength & conditioning and we don’t need to lose it.
Our 7 on 7 season is over, but I thought we had a great summer. We ended the summer with a 25-5 record in all 3 of our tournaments. The last two weeks our guys played extremely well, going 20-2, and winning the Southwest Elite 7 on 7.
Practice begins on August 3, and we will send out a detailed practice schedule later in the week. Thanks for all of the help during the 7 on 7 season with drinks, food, etc. It is much appreciated!

Practice Schedule
Parents,
We wanted to go ahead and give you the schedule for this week. It is finals week so we will be practicing earlier in the day, right after the guys finish their test. This will also allow them plenty of time to get home and study on those nights. Also, remember we will have a mandatory parent meeting at 6:00 p.m. this Friday. This will be followed by our spring football game at 7:00. We will be serving Chick-fil-a out of our concession stand so that you can enjoy dinner while you are at the meeting and game. Thanks.

Summer Schedule
Parents,
Hope everyone is doing well. Things at Shiloh are going great! Our guys have been working extremely hard in the weight room the past several weeks, and are seeing some great gains. We have a lot of guys that are involved in track & baseball so they are staying busy right now. Last week, Ken Freeman spoke at our chapel, and we had a few guys accept Christ as their Savior so that was an awesome deal as well! The Lord is doing some great things in our school, and I’m excited about the leaders we have on this team for next season.
The summer schedule will be mailed to you this week so you should have your calendar soon.
Right now, we have right at 60 guys on our team. As far as 7 on 7 tournaments go, we will have to limit those to only 20-25 players, depending on the tourney. We have more than 40 possible skill players so we will let the guys know as soon as we can during spring practice if they will be participating in those tourneys.
Last thing, we will have spring football practice from May 18-29. This will be after all of the other spring sports have concluded. We will practice every day, and will end it with a spring game that last day. We will probably have a parent meeting at that time to discuss the summer schedule and anything else.
Thanks for all that you do and for believing in Christian education here at Shiloh. Please be in prayer for our girls basketball team as they make a run at a state title, starting this Friday in Pine Bluff.

State Championship Week!
Parents,
Well, it’s great to be playing for the State Championship again this year! We are very blessed and thankful to the Lord for this opportunity. It is great to see our guys’ hard work since last January pay off for them. Please encourage your guys not to take this for granted. Some of the guys on this team are going to be playing in their 3rd consecutive State title and that is not normal for most high schools. We are playing a tough Pine Bluff Dollarway team that lost in the state title last year as well. So both teams will be very determined to come away with a victory on Saturday at noon.
Notice that we will have a pep rally on Friday night at 8:00 @ The Sports Authority parking lot. This is the same place we had it last year. It is located right down the street from the hotel on Chenal Parkway.

We will play our final regular season game this Friday against Farmington here at home, and it will be Senior Night as well. Our seniors have done a great job this season, and this is a great opportunity to honor them on Friday night.
Since we are the #1 seed, we will now have a bye the first round of the playoffs. I wanted to give you a heads-up on our schedule during the bye week. Parents,
We hope everyone is excited about the game tomorrow night. I want to encourage you to get there early. If you have not been to Gravette’s new stadium, it is a great facility so it should be a great atmosphere there. They always have great fan support there so let’s make sure we get there early and be loud for our guys.
Also, just a reminder that we will NOT have the JV game on Monday, Oct. 27. They had to cancel. It has been a great JV season though, we were able to play more games than we ever have. Our guys did a great job every Monday night and were able to gain some valuable experience. Thanks and please continue to pray for our team.

We had another great win on Friday night! I’m really proud of our guys for improving each week. We have a big one this Friday against Prairie Grove. We talked all week about praying for wisdom and discernment from the Lord on a daily basis. Please keep encouraging them to do the same. 7:00 – Game vs. Prairie Grove
Saturday
9:30-11:00 – Weights/Film
We had another great win on Friday night! I’m really proud of our guys for improving each week. We have a big one this Friday against Prairie Grove. They always do a great job and I know their guys will be ready. We are both 2-0 in conference play so this game means a lot. Another thing that is going well with our guys is our leadership book that we are going through as a team. Last week’s chapter was on discernment. We talked all week about praying for wisdom and discernment from the Lord on a daily basis. Please keep encouraging them to do the same. We have been very pleased with our guys’ study through the book. Here is our schedule for the week:

Berryville Week
Parents,
Friday was a great night for Shiloh football! Thanks to all of you for helping us with some great home-field advantage. Our guys played really well and executed in all aspects of the game. Remember that we start our conference season this week and all games will begin at 7:00 p.m. for the rest of the regular season. We must stay focused and take it one game at a time. The winner of our conference gets home-field advantage throughout the playoffs so it is a great opportunity. Your continued prayers for our team is appreciated.
