Thanks/Schedule

Parents,

We just wanted to say thanks a lot for all of the help at the Pancake Breakfast. I thought our guys did a great job serving, and thanks to all of the parents that helped cook, serve, etc. It was definitely a success. We had right around 700 people show up for the breakfast. Also, we were able to raise right around $7,000 for our program! This money will go to help cover the cost of new equipment, practice gear, etc. for all of our teams. Hopefully we can continue this next season, and it will keep getting bigger and better.

Remember we will scrimmage Fayetteville tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. Please be there and be loud to support our guys! They have worked extremely hard the past few weeks and it’s great to finally be playing someone else. We pray God will bless you and your family this week!

Weekly Schedule

Here is our schedule for the week. It’s not a whole lot different than it will normally be, but remember we will start lifting weights on Monday & Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. Also, the money for the pancake breakfast is supposed to be turned in by this Wednesday. We already have some guys, but still need more. There is also an opportunity to hear ESPN’s Chris Mortensen at The Church @ Pinnacle Hills this Saturday afternoon from 2:00-4:00. There is no charge for the event, and it is mainly just Chris getting up there and talking some football. Anyone can come. Thanks.

Labor Day Practice

Parents,

We will be practicing on Labor Day. We always practice the high school anyway, but this year we are also practicing the 7th grade and Jr. High. The 7th grade and Jr. High teams play their first game on Tuesday, September 2nd, so it is very important that they practice the day before the game. We tried to schedule the practice later in the day because I know some people will travel over the weekend.

Here is the schedule:

Monday, September 1st
7th Grade & Jr. High – 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Sr. High – 6:00-8:30 p.m.
